What is Tennis Elbow Embolization?

Tennis Elbow Embolization is a minimally invasive elbow pain treatment in Chicago that targets the source of chronic pain. In conditions like lateral epicondylitis, the joint lining develops abnormal, microscopic blood vessels, a process known as angiogenesis. These vessels are a primary source of inflammatory agents and pain. The procedure works by blocking these abnormal vessels, which reduces inflammation and provides significant pain relief.

Ideal candidates for this procedure have experienced chronic elbow pain for more than three months and have not found relief with conservative treatments like physical therapy, bracing, or steroid injections.
